One of our family's favorite splurges! Seafood broil is always a good time - mixing messy with delicious - and this places presents it in a way that almost feels luxurious. Dedicated wash stations, complimentary hair ties, complete bib-gloves-plate set for each diner & other crustacean-cracking tools too. There's also plenty of style as well with easy going jazz in the background, spacious clean decor, and rainbow drink pouches (with BYOB options!). The feature attraction are their combo pound bags, which we typically choose to fill up with crab and shrimp... cost per market price. I do wish they gave more corn & potatoes for each bag, but you can add them via extra side options. We also grab some calamari, Cajun fries, and the occasional garlic noodles too. Kid meals are the best (see below). The sauces range from plain garlic butter to several levels of spiciness. Even for someone like me who is spice intolerant, level 2 is a good ideal. It's sooo tasty and sometimes we even bring home the bag remnants in a mini sauce container. The staff is always super friendly and wonderful... It almost feels a bit southern hospitality ;) will most likely be back again soon.

Omgggg this seafood boil was sooo good 😭 everything was hot fresh and full of flavor. They definitely not stingy with the portions either. The crab legs lobster shrimp corn potatoes literally everything was soaking in that sauceeee 😂 gloves went on and being cute went OUT the window. The vibe is really chill and fun and the service was great too. I also got the drink pouch ( I believe it was lemonade )which was sooo cute and went perfect with everything. Definitely come hungry because you’re leaving FULL. I would absolutely come back especially when I’m craving a good messy seafood boil 😂 10/10.

Our experience at Cap’t Louie in Edison was spectacular and I find one of the best seafood boil places in central Jersey. My wife and I ordered the custom 2lb combo with snow crab legs, head on shrimp, and scallops with the free side of sausage all in the Cap’t Louie sauce mild. What a delicious and tasty combo! We also ordered a side of garlic bread and when you dip that in the sauce it’s absolute perfection. The seafood tasted fresh and not cheap. Also our server Sandy was a blast to talk to. Sandy recommended all of the awesome items we ate and so was personable and kind. Sandy even told us about additional items provided like free wipes for stains on your clothings, as well as free mouth wash in the bathroom. All in all we had a great anniversary lunch at Cap’t Louie and would recommend anyone to go there for delicious seafood boil and amazing customer service!

Though a chain: definitely enjoyable and pleasant ambiance/atmosphere. Family friendly. Thorough menu of seafood (1/4, 1/2 and 1 pound per seafood selection to order). Affordable. Prices are sensible. Plenty of ample parking in a parking lot. May need to circle around 1-2 to find a spot, though.
